ARBITRATION II

Continuation of Arb. I & additional areas. Discussion of procedural
issues in arbitration,. For new Labor/Management representatives – you
will meet more arbitrators in eight weeks than you will in five years
of practice. Arb I or permission of instructors is required. Limited
to fifteen participants

FINANCIAL REVIEW FOR UNIONS

The relation between the US legal system and American labor from the
mid-19th Century, including anti-trust laws, The Railway Labor Act,
the, Norris-LaGuardiaAct, Wagner Act, Taft-Hartley Act. Landrum
Griffin Act and major judicial decisions.

THE WORKING VOTER

This class will examine the issues that will
confront voters in the upcoming national & local elections in
November. Each class will look at a
different issue from a number of perspectives, considering its impact
on working people.
