Bob Senier is the Local 369 Business Agent for Production and Maintenance, in the northern region. Bob represents members at Boston Generation, Distrigas, ElecComm, Entergy, Excelon, NStar and Mirant. He has been a union member for 17 years serving in the capacity of a Steward, Chief Steward, and Trustee. Before coming to Boston Edison Bob served in the United States Marine Corps. Bob started in the Overhead at Boston Edison where he worked until his election as Business Agent last fall. While in the OH Bob held the rates of Lineman Grade C, B, A, Hot Stick and Hot Stick Troubleshooter.Bob is also Melrose youth hockey coach. Duties of the Business Agent FROM THE BY-LAWS OF LOCAL 369 UTILITY WORKERS UNION OF AMERICA, AFL-CIO Article IV The Business Agent(s) shall be full time employees of the Local. He/She shall have responsibility to represent the Local in matters under the collective bargaining agreement with the respective employers. He/She shall be responsible for grievances and arbitrations and shall assist the appropriate Executive Board Member/Vice President, Stewards and Chief Stewards in these matters. In the event a dispute should arise between Chief Stewards and/or Stewards, he/she shall render a decision which can then be reviewed by the Executive Board. He/She shall carry out the instructions of the Executive Board and such other duties as the Local may require of him/her. He/she shall report, in person, his/her actions to the Executive Board at the regular Executive Board meetings and also to the general membership at the regular membership meetings. »
